Hanumante is also the peak having great religious significance. It is believed that when Laxman (Brother of Ram) is hit by bow of Indrajit (Son of Ravan) in Ramayana, Hanuman brought the hill containing medicine from here Statue of Hanuman and scarp of his feet and paw at the midale of steep vertical cliff are the supportive evidence. Amazing features at the rock inside caves of Hanuman than temple are other attractive features of Hanumante. Beside cultural significance it is also the natural view tower for beautiful mountain ranges.
How to reach: It is 3 hour walk from Jiri’s Prabeshdwar Khawadanda, you can also get to the foot of hanumate by vehicles and then from there after half an hour you can reach to the Hanumante hill.
What to bring: As the altitude where Hanumate lies is about 3050 meters, you must bring some warm clothes, shoes, dry food and water along with you.
