Jiri is the small landlocked valley lies at mountainous region in Central Development Region of Nepal. It lies between 27°37′ N to 27°41' N latitude and 86°11'E 86°16' E longitude. It exits is from 1700 masl (Seurani) to 3690 masl (Chyordong) in elevation with temperate to cool alpine environment. Its geography and climatic condition is often compared to the Zurich city of Switzerland.
